All forms of transport are available for fast transfer to Oslo and nearby regional towns.
On hand is a fleet of day and night buses; the Airport Express train, which runs direct from the airport to Oslo; and numerous taxi cabs available for hire from directly outside the terminal.
Buses
The Airport Bus runs from Oslo Gardermoen Airport (OSL) to downtown Oslo, the bus station and various major hotels every 20 minutes daily; the journey to central Oslo takes about 40 minutes. The first bus departs Oslo Gardermoen Bus Terminal at 04:00 and there is a night bus service in conjunction with SAS, timed to coincide with flights. Other bus services include SL, with similar routes and prices as the SAS bus, while Flybussekspressen has numerous stops in Oslo and the surrounding area and the Nettbuss serves Kongsvinger and Årnes.
Trains
The Airport Express Train runs direct from the terminal to Oslo and offers ticketless travel to those using a SAS Travel Pass Corporate (TPC), SAS Corporate Card, Braathens e-pass, Eurocard/MasterCard, American Express, Diners or Visa cards. Regional trains run to Oslo, Lillehammer and Trondheim, while NSB local trains serve the Kongsberg to Eidsvoll route.
Taxi Cabs
Taxis are readily available at Oslo Gardermoen Airport (OSL) from directly outside the terminal entrance, near the Arrivals Hall. The three main taxi companies which operate from the airport are Airport Taxi, Norgestaxi and Taxi 2, while there are also maxi-taxis and wheelchair-friendly taxis available on request.
